Our Galiano Grey Basalt Treads feature a sawn bottom and sawn three sides, with a hand chiseled, natural cleft front side. The top surface has been flamed in order to provide a skid-resistant footing when your stair landing is wet or icy. This material is also available as a 2" tread cap, which is ideal for both tread caps or as a coping. Some chipping may be required on the back sawn edge when used for coping purposes.
