Our sandstone steps are used for landscaping, construction and public areas. Our steps feature fine detailing with its flamed top and sawn bottom and sides with a hand dressed front leading edge. Sandstone steps are used on new and old buildings where a more imposing look is required. Some areas of application are custom homes, important civic and corporate buildings and landscapes. A typical stone step relies on a single unit, a large block of stone that acts as both tread and riser. These blocks of stone may be bedded on concrete, on brickwork or on other block of stone to create the flight. Also available in a tread cap measuring 2-3/8" height x 14" x 48" long, and is sold individually by the piece.
